Future changes -------------- The current Psion version uses a backed up window, which results in an overhead of 9K on the 3a. Since early versions (before the menus and dialogs were added) did full redrawing without the bitmap, this seems excessive. Alas, there seems to be no easy way to eliminate the bitmap without causing the HWIF menu routines to panic. Since the next level of Psion library requires using HWIM/OLIB and hides the event loop, it seems to be impossible to avoid the overhead without restructuring the sources entirely and losing the Acorn support. Further source code clean ups are needed before the proposed X release. Bring the Acorn modules back in step and generate a new Acorn release.
